The system
This Kingswood property uses an LG Therma V air-to-water heat pump as part of a wider renewable-energy installation. The heating and hot-water system incorporates an unvented pressurised hot-water cylinder, solar thermal, solar PV and connected battery storage.
The hydraulic side also includes a buffer vessel, circulation equipment, expansion vessels and insulated pipework. It is a good example of why heat-pump servicing needs to consider the complete system rather than only the outdoor unit.
Service visit
Envirowarm attended the property in Kingswood, Hull HU7 for planned LG air source heat-pump servicing. The system and associated components were serviced and checked as part of ongoing maintenance, ready for continued operation.
The LG outdoor unit manufacturer label identifies the unit as model HM071M U43 using R32 refrigerant.
