Supporting reliable heating at a working brewery
Envirowarm attended Wold Top Brewery to carry out planned servicing on three air source heat pump systems. Commercial sites depend on their heating equipment operating reliably, so routine maintenance provides an opportunity to assess the condition of each outdoor unit, remove contamination and check the system’s frost protection.
Work completed during the visit
Outdoor-unit inspection
Accessible casings, fans and heat-exchanger coils were inspected across the Samsung and Hitachi equipment shown.
Coil and fan cleaning
Suitable condenser cleaner was used as part of removing accumulated dirt from the outdoor heat-exchanger surfaces and fan areas.
Glycol protection testing
System fluid protection was checked with a refractometer to assess the anti-freeze concentration present at the time of servicing.
Why planned ASHP maintenance matters
Outdoor heat pumps operate in changing weather and environmental conditions. Dirt on the coil, restricted airflow, physical damage or inadequate frost protection can all affect reliability. A planned service allows the equipment and associated system condition to be reviewed before issues become more disruptive.
For a commercial customer, servicing several systems during one organised attendance also helps keep maintenance records clear and makes future repair or replacement planning easier.
